We are looking for an outstanding Insights specialist to join our world class team in our efforts to gain maximum value from our marketing efforts. Reporting to the Consumer Insights Manager, you will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of our global audience, the New Zealand tourism industry, and measuring the impact of our work. Working with our global and market teams, you will bring a holistic approach to insights, translating these into actionable insights to drive decision making across the organisation.
Insights play a critical role in determining where and how we focus our organisational resource, ensuring evidence-based decision making, and ensuring TNZ can provide useful insights for the broader industry.

- 3 To 4 years working in an insights role
- An adaptable mindset with comfort embracing a broad scope of work that spans different skill sets.
- Flexibility and openness to operate in a rapidly changing environment.
- A commercial marketing and insights background with an excellent understanding of the power of consumer research and data to inform marketing strategy and implementation.
- Able to manage research and conduct analysis and be able to extract insights and apply them to Tourism New Zealand's marketing efforts using your marketing know-how.
As our work at Tourism New Zealand is insight led, so you'll need to be an expert at communicating to all levels in a complex global organisation. Your ability to influence strategy and operations will be second to none as we strive to continually improve the way we communicate to enhance the visitor experience.
